Fertility Reflexology – Supporting Conception |£55.00 p/h (Initial Appt £65)
Fertility Reflexology involves truly wonderful treatments to help you along your fertility journey. I have had extensive training in Reflexology for Fertility, and have been awarded Sally Earlams “Certificate in Competency”. I combine the amazing techniques I learnt with Sally along with my in- depth knowledge of Essential Oils to really enhance the Reflexology Fertility treatment.. Fertility Reflexology, can help to improve your fertility by positively directing the flow of energy where it is needed. Reflexology involves manipulating pressure points in the feet or hands in order to positively affect a corresponding area of the body. In essence, energy pathways are unblocked, allowing the energy to flow as it should.
What is Reflexology?
There are thousands of nerve endings in the soles of the feet, and when stimulated, they send messages to the corresponding parts of the body to return to homoeostasis (i,e. to work as they should). Stimulating areas on the feet may feel slightly uncomfortable (some people just don’t like their feet being touched!), while others may find it to be a stimulating and energetic experience.
Everyone is completely different – clients can experience sensations of heat or coldness, laughter, short-lived sadness, or yawning. Your response to reflexology is absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about – it’s all part of the healing process.
This is a beautiful book that I use to support my training, it makes for interesting reading even for a non reflexologist.
Your initial appointment will be longer than usual due to an in-depth consultation, therefore you need to allow for more time. When booking on line, if this is your first appointment with me, please select the Fertility Reflexology Initial Appt treatment. The best time to have your first appointment with me for Fertility Reflexology is during your bleed and a follow up 7 days later before ovulation.
There are points on the feet that correspond with the reproductive system in the body, and by manipulating these; the imbalances that can lead to problems conceiving can be corrected. Fertility reflexology can be helpful for a range of things that can impact on a person’s fertility, such as :
- Polycystic ovaries
- Cervical problems
- Adhesions (more commonly known as scar tissue)
- Pelvic inflammatory disease
- Pre-menstrual syndrome
- Hormonal imbalances
- Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
- Stress related problems
- Menstrual problems
Reflexology is actually fantastic for helping stress, which is very important if you are trying to increase your fertility and become pregnant. Stress can actually negatively affect your ability to conceive, whether it is worrying about becoming pregnant, stress from other family members or friends, workplace stress and so on. Reflexology is known for being calming and relaxing.
Reflexology is also great for balancing hormones, which can help with things such as encouraging regular menstruation, promoting ovulation, and relieving the symptoms of poly cystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. I will always work a hormonal balance into your treatment enhancing your overall feeling of well being.
Can Men’s fertility also be helped by Reflexology?
Just like in women, reflexology used in conjunction with good nutrition and lifestyle changes can clear toxins from the body, boost the immune system, reduce inflammation, and improve sleep, which in turn reduces stress hormones and associated fat storage.
“The key areas for men are related to sperm health. Sperm count, motility (ability to swim) and morphology (shape – one head, one tail). Men make new sperm every day, but they are not mature enough to fertilise an egg until they are three months old.”
“Hi Jacqueline, Hope you are well. I didn’t come on my period this week so we took a test yesterday and it was positive! Very early days as it says in only 2 weeks but wanted to email you as you’ve been so great in helping me to get pregnant”.
